Last Documented

Samoan White-eye was recorded regularly during visits to Savai'i's mountains in 2005, 2012 and 2016, with twenty or more individuals being observed at a time. More recently, single Samoan White-eyes were reported during visits to the A'opo Cloud Forest Conservation Area on Savai'i in 2019 and 2023, however, the most recent documented record appears to be a sound recording made by Todd Mark in February 2015.
