Last Documented

Most records of Luzon Rail have been of individuals migrating through Dalton Pass in central Luzon. There have been multiple records of the rail from Dalton Pass that include photographs, sound recordings, and even video of the species. The most recent documented record is a photograph taken at the pass by Ivan Sarenas in October 2014.

Taxonomy

Luzon Rail is also known as Brown-banded Rail, which is the English name of the species used by HBW/BirdLife.
