Last Documented

Prior to its photographic rediscovery in June 2022 (Eaton 2022), the last documented record was July 1977 photos from the Ladakh region of Kashmir, which is administered by India. Between 2022 and 2023, the Long-billed Bush Warbler has now been stunningly documented from two different river valleys in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Kashmir, which is administered by Pakistan.
